We also feature great works like, “Dialogues of an Introvert”, which give a unique artistic perspective. As part of the Seattle art museum scene it’s important to have art that ranges from the abstract to classic to contemporary and more. You can visit our Kirkland fine art gallery and see many great works like these!
We’re also a Seattle Asian art museum that features a lot of great artwork from Esteemed Asian artists. Recently, we featured artwork from Nandini Valli Muthiah, who was one of the featured artists of the Indian show "City Dwellers”. This is contemporary art from India. It was also shown at the Seattle Museum of Art which is featured in Sotheby's. Nandini takes photographs that give a really interesting perspective. Her colorful art tackles some of the common issues of our day like stereotypes and our preset beliefs.
This the type of quality art you’d expect to see at art museums in Seattle. One of Nandini Valli Muthiah's work "The Assurance" has been the feathers of the Indian contemporary art show "City Dweller" in 2015 at the Seattle Museum of Art. It’s also been featured at international exhibitions followed by Foto Fest 2018 Houston Texas USA, Chennai Photo Biennale India, "Life in the Everyday" at Kiran Nadar Museum, India. "Generation in Transition" at Zacheta National Art Gallery, Warsaw, Poland, Woodstreet Galleries Pittsburgh USA, Kontour Project Gallery Copenhagen Denmark, Whitechapel Gallery, London and more.
Muthiah’s work has been a feather in Sotherby's and nominated for the prestigious Grange Prize in 2011. NYB Gallery features more of her series of works in the gallery archive.
