Untitled by Gegham Abrahamyan and Deane McGahan "Greta creators don't necessarily have the deepest expertise but rather seek out the broadest perspectives." - Adam Grant, Originals: How nonconformists Move the World NYB Gallery is proud to announce an exhibition of new works by our talented 3 local artists, their sui generis and exceptional artworks. "The Resonance symbolizes incremental transformation — a vast change sparked by one individual. Each work consists of several hundred symmetrical and regularly developing geometric forms. In the center is a human being within a square or a circle. When humans push their hand out of the shape they occupy, then the resonance begins. What began as the smallest silhouette of change transcends its initial volume over time, and ultimately changes a reality that had seemed to be eternal." - by Gegham Abrahamyan "Through the manipulation of raw elements, I explore the complexities of visual perception using everyday building materials. I aim to push the boundaries of form, unveiling experiences that transcend everyday perception. In a fusion of abstraction and reality, my creative process delves into the dynamic interplay between the tangible and intangible, unveiling both raw and developed forces that shape the human psyche. Ultimately, my work serves as a reflection on the intricate tapestry of the human condition, inviting viewers to journey through multifaceted realms of perception and existence." - by Deane McGahan Untitled will be open for viewing May 30th at NYB Gallery in Kirkland, WA.
